Katherine Sullivan, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker. She earned her MSW from Fordham University and completed advanced training through Fordham’s Post Graduate Program in Child and Adolescent Therapy. Katherine received her early clinical experience from Mid-Fairfield Child Guidance Center as a therapist and Assistant Program Director to the intensive outpatient therapeutic program. Prior to starting her private practice Katherine provided services to children and families in the public school setting for diagnosis that included ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, behavioral concerns and adoption. Katherine specializes in working with children within the family context, as well as couples therapy, and is available to provide evaluations and treatment to families through a unique home-based model that she has developed within her private practice. Katherine has completed continuing education through the Ackerman Family Institute in New York City, which included intensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. This type of treatment is a short-term, structured approach that uses the principals of emotion and attachment theory in working with families and couples. Katherine is available to treat both children and adults through individual, couples, and family therapy.
