Bobby Tremonte, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor experienced in working with children, adolescents and families. He received his Bachelor's of Arts and Master's of Arts degrees from the University of Connecticut. 

 

Bobby currently manages the Prospects Extended Day Treatment program at the Mid-Fairfield Child Guidance Center in Norwalk, CT. His previous experience spans practicing in three states (Tennessee, Maine, Connecticut) and in various different settings (in-home, school, milieu, and office). He has coordinated and supervised in-home therapy, school-based outpatient therapy, case management, and extended day treatment teams. 

 

Over the past twelve years Bobby has provided individual, family and group therapy to children and their families. He has experience in treating children and adolescents with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral challenges and mood disorders. He utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), mindfulness and strengths-based approaches within his collaborative and empathetic approach to treatment. His interests include individual and family therapy with children, adolescents and families with challenges related to hyperactivity, anxiety, emotional regulation, mood and autism spectrum disorders.
